How to buy your domain with your Orson subscription

What you need: your login and password
Your site is ready to be launched and you want to use your own domain.
The domain is the web address (URL) of your site: all pages of your site are attached to it like this https://www.mydomain.com/number/page-title
There are two options:
- Either you buy a domain through a registrar such as OVH, Gandi, or GoDaddy (for instance).
- Or you subscribe to Orson's unlimited offer: it includes your own custom domain! We'll register it for you, but you have full ownership of it. You can chose between a domain ending by .com, .net, .org, .co, .fr, .be and .es
We work with the registrar OpenSRS, which guarantees optimum performance for your website.
1) Log in to your backoffice on Orson.io
- Click on "Settings"
- Click on "Register your domain"
2) Choose your domain
- Write your domain and separate each word with a dash "-". FYI your domain doesn't need to include keywords, keep it simple and choose your company name.
- Choose an extension ( .com, .fr, .be...)
- Click "Vérifiez sa disponibilité".
Légende : Si le nom de domaine n'est pas disponible, Orson.io va vous l'indiquer et vous proposer des alternatives. Il vous faudra peut être tester plusieurs nom de domaine.
3) Validate the registration of your domain
- Click on "Register"
You'll receive a confirmation by email. Save it.
4) Validate the email sent by Open SRS
- If you registered a domain ending by .com, you'll receive an email from our registrar Open SRS to confirm the registration.
- Click on the the link and follow the instructions
A window opens:
- verify the informations
- validate by clicking on "Verify information"
